I was fortunate to be accepted into the PRRT clinical trial at Excell Diagnostics . Houston . Texas. I start the first of four one week treatments on May 2nd. 2012. There have only been 40 patients before me. There are thousands of others across the USA that would also like to have that opportunity. This is the first Clinical Trial of PRRT and LU-177 seeking FDA approval in the USA. It is not covered by Insurance. The cost is $60,000.00 for four one week treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. This does not include airfares, travel and accomadation expences of any kind. Is it worth it ? YES ! while not available in the USA yet, PRRT has been the STANDARD of treatment in Europe for the last 15 years !which is where most afflicted Americans have to travel to for the life saving treatments. This is not experimental by any means. The results are proven and well documented. Unfortunatly here in this great country of ours, approval is bogged down by the FDA and beaurocracy. I hope this will change soon as many thousands suffer and die here prematuraly for lack of funds and availabilty. I hope my participation and good result will also help my fellow "Noids Friends". I am a good candidate for the procedure. My tumors have spread to far for surgery to be a cure and this is the BEST treatment available for me. Thank You again. Ann E
